I'm a homeowner!!!!!!!!!
We closed today on our first home!
Working with HSBC was a godsend - our closing lasted 57 minutes (the lawyers were all timing it for some reason while DH and I signed every piece of paper that a forest grew).
So, we went to our new home....and DH carried me over the threshold! And then we unpacked our cars, changed the locks on all the doors to the outside, put up all the blinds across the living floor (kitchen, DR, LR) and the upstairs bathroom. So, our apt is feeling empty, and the house a bungalow of boxes
