I work in Amityville, but I live on the Farmingdale border and usually just go home for lunch.
But where in Farmingdale do you work? There are a ton of places around up on 110 or on Main Street.

how about Suburban Eats in Melville on 110 (south of the Hungtington Hilton)

Dave and Busters on 110 in the Home Depot/Movie Shopping center.

Where are you? I'm right off Main St, just south of 109. Across the street from the new Stop & Shop.We never go to sit-down restaurants, only takeout.
Bagel Factory in Airport Plaza is the absolute best deli around. Chicken Reuben = heaven on bread. Great chopped salads too. The quesadillas and turkey burgers are also fan favorites around here.
There's Cheeburger Cheeburger in Airport Plaza too, but i've never been there.
Panera and Chipotle are on 110 by walmart
Gino's (main st) or Mary's (main st, courtesy drugs shopping center) for pizza. Mary's has nice lunch specials for paninis and such.
I've been meaning to try Kodiak's on 110
Green Cactus on rt 109 in W Bab (less than 10 minutes away and SO worth it)
Used to go to Pete's deli, but my boss got glass in a sandwich. Haven't been back since.
Best bagels in the area are @ Bagel Hut on rt 109, in the strip next to Dunkin Donuts.
Library Cafe is good. Nothing spectacular, but good. I think we had friendly's once (on 109). We get our chinese from Lotus Garden.
Annnnnd now I sound like a big fat fatty. There are 12 of us in the office, everyone prefers SOME kind of takeout!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm loved this place when I worked in Melville.
I LOVED this place when I used to work in Farmingdale 
I actually went all the way there ( 10 exits on teh LIE) just to get a salad last week
