If you have stairs in your home..
have you ever fallen down them? big fear of mine..

yes a few steps. DH too.
We have carpet on them. I thought about changing to wood but it would so slippery I did not do it.

that's what I'm thinking too... keep the carpeting on the stairs. I have actually fallen UP stairs, too, if you can imagine that! I'm such a klutz.

Yes and I have wood stairs. I fell down them once when i first moved in. Luckily it was only 6 steps. I have also fallen up them ...but thats another story

that's what I'm thinking too... keep the carpeting on the stairs. I have actually fallen UP stairs, too, if you can imagine that! I'm such a klutz.
DS has fallen too but we were spotting him so he ended up in our arms. It was at the bottom of the steps. It happened with both with DH and I.

We've lived here 8-9 months and I've already fallen down 3 times. DH has never fallen down. Luckily it wasn't bad falls, but I am scared of falling badly. Now I try not to go down them with socks on (slippery) and I go down more slowly now too.

I've slipped/fallen down my carpeted stairs in my first house house many times but never slipped or fallen on my uncarpeted wood steps in my new house.

I havent fallen down them yet *knock on wood* but I have come very close, but then caught myself.

We have stairs to our basement...they used to be horrible...so I'm surprsed I never did fall LOL. They aren't the full width of a normal step, and they aren't all the same height difference from eachother. DH has since fixed them, and also closed them in. Once we paint them we are going to get the little pieces of carpet that are fit to the steps... we rent...so cheapest way out LOL

I havent (although its the first flight of stairs I havent). However, I did let my DS fall down the entire flight when he was like a year old.....which I think is worse.

I have fallen down our stairs 3 times. Once was the whole flight and the other 2 times were only some of the steps. But i am a big klutz.

Ive tripped but caught myself so i never actually went down... but yea, scary feeling... and we have carpeted steps which we want to replace but not sure if we're going to do carpet again or wood

ive fallen down my stairs several times nothing serious happened.... ive fallen down the stairs at school and torn ligaments... my mom fell down hers and shattered her ankle... my sister broke her foot falling down my parents stairs...

I have wood stairs, two flights actually because we have a splanch.
DH has gone down on them, I haven't yet, but we've only been here a year. I've come close but have caught myself...its really only a matter of time, ahha.

I live with DH in my childhood home and I can't even count how many times in my life I've fallen down the stairs!
DH fell a few times but my favorite was when he tripped on our dogs toy and fell......THAT was priceless!

we just moved in a month ago and yes i have fallen up and down the stairs, lol
usually its just the last 2 steps but i am paranoid because i have 2 infants i am usually carrying, thank god i wasn't holding them any time i fell, i am overly careful now when holding them,
we are going to put some kind of carpet or stair rugs on them

I have fallen down the stairs when I lived at my parents house. But I haven't fallen down ours yet. 
I have tripped going up them though.
