had an emergency c-section at 4:24pm on Monday and I left the hospital Wednesday at 1:00pm.

I wanted out of the hospital so bad so I asked to be discharged early.

3 days and I was begging to go home in 2 and thought about signing myself out my dr convinced me to stay. I am not one for hospitals and I felt fine and just wanted to be home.

Both times I stayed for 3 nights. They wanted me to stay for a 4th both times but I declined. Now I wish I had just for the rest!!!

4 nights. They were offering me another night if I didn't feel comfortable going home. I might take them up on it this time if they offer it!

I went in at 1pm on a Thursday, and was Discharged by 1pm on Sunday.

So, 3 nights 4 days.

CS was on Monday, I went home on Fri. I wanted to get the hell out of there, I was admitted the previous Friday.

four nights. They were ready to send me home after 3, but a friend of mine who has the same insurance as I do told me that i am entitled to 4 nights. I called the insurance to see, and they said yes, I'm entitled to four nights. I told my dr. and he said he was fine with my staying an extra night, but he didn't think I needed to.

With DS1, I had him VERY early on Sunday morning, I went home Wednesday night.
With DS2, I had him mid-day on a Tuesday, I came home on Friday night. He was in the NICU so I wasn't in a rush to get home (DS1 was at my parents anyway...).

I left early with both mine as I couldn't sleep and would rather be home.

I'm newly pg and this time I think I'll stay longer, with two children at home I think i'll need a bit longer!

I had DS on a Wednesday afternoon and was released on Sunday. I did not have any complications and was healing very well.

Had dd Friday 5:08 PM. they wanted me to stay until Tuesday...I asked to go home on Monday morning.

CS at 6:30 Tuesday night, left Friday morning.

with both c-sections I took the max amount of time, 4 nights with both

I had DS at 526pm on a Saturday and was suppose to go home Tuesday. But I wasn't feeling so good so I stayed another night. In NYS I think you are entitled to 72 hours after a c-section..

I had dd on Wednesday afternoon and was discharged on Saturday although my OB was more than willing to let me stay an extra night but I felt fine so I left. I checked in on Monday and had a failed induction though so I was dying to get out of there.

My C was on a Wednesday afternoon... baby was born at 1:13pm.

I went home Saturday late afternoon. They gave me the option of staying until Sunday... but i was eager to get the heck out of there. I couldn't sleep AT ALL in the hospital... there were far too many interruptions and I just was at my witts end.

So all in all.. i was there Wed night, Thurs night and Fri night. I wasn't having it for a Sat night too... so 3 nights but could have been 4 if I felt the need, which I didn't.
