If you could Stay at home would you?
All this talk about SAHM and working moms got me thinking ...if you could stay at home would you? ( and by "if you could"...I mean financially)
The reason I ask is my BF could have been a SAHM but she loves her job and decided she did not want to stay at home so she chose to continue working and her kids go to daycare.
If I had the choice to be a full time SAHM I would.
so my answer is YES.
Only yes or no answers please

Not sure, can't really say until I go back to work. Right now I'd say a SAHM would be great and P/T sounds good also.
The thought of having to go back to work F/T is just so stressful right now I choose to not even think about it.

As much as I might miss Ava today, no. I would not choose to stay at home. I love my job and what I do far too much to give that up. I love my daughter with every ounce of my being, and in order to that, I need to be happy. Working (while I might not feel like it today ) makes me happy.

Yes and I sort of do. I work PT 2 nights a week. The perfect balance. I'm not sure I would give that up I just wish I could take off whenever I wanted from my PT job but I can't.

If by "could" you mean had a guaranteed financially secure future not dependent on my husband or company, then yes.
Otherwise, no.

I was a FT SAHM for 15 months after my 2nd was born. I thought I was going to lose my mind. I went back to work part-time (DH is with the kids when I'm at work) in October and it's the best thing I could have done. For both me and my kids.

No...If I ever decide to stay home it will be when the kids are older. Even then, I'd do something part-time while they are at school.
