No one has ever bothered me, but I make it a point not to answer controversial posts unless I really have strong feelings about it.
I come on here to pass time and have fun, not to have aurgumentative debates.
Same for me.
I'm usually non-confrontational in real life, so it's not like me to call people out on the boards.
I come here for fun, I don't let things bother me here.

At first I would get upset and respond, but now I've learned it's not worth the aggravation so I ignore, especially because they are no one of importance to me.

sometimes I like to break up the stupidity and immaturity with a joke...LOL. I don't have drama on here b/c I'm not involved enough on here to be part of any of it, but if I did, I guess I would take if off the boards. No one here bothers me, b/c I don't know anyone in real life. Actually, one or two times when someone said something I just HAD to acknowledge, I did FM the person, so there you go. I think your private business is just that. Private.

I used to try to talk to people, talk things out, try to come to an understanding even if we didn't agree.
But so many people cannot for one second consider someone else's point of view or question their own judgement. Really consider. Not just front.
There is no talking to people like that and in the grand scheme of things, they don't mean sh*t to me. Their bitterness and negativity are poison to a happy person such as myself.
My real-life friends that happen to post here though? I care about them immensely and they are totally worth FM's, IM's, emails, phone calls, visits, get togethers... You name it.

I have sent an FM to address a member when I thought they were out of line, I thought it was the more mature way of addressing it rather than "calling then out" in front everyone and starting more drama.

This is exactly how I feel about it too. If one of my TRUE friends has a problem with something I have said or vice versa, we will address it on our own. If it is someone that isn't worth my time, then who cares?

I agree too ! 
I will say what I have to say right here right now.
Why bother with FMs, so they can post "stop the harassing FMs?" 
Let's not boost egos in the process now too
 
Of course this is if something arises within a post. Nothing else bothers me enough to send someone I dislike an fm.

Not that anyone has ever bothered me on LIF' in that way, but if I felt there was a misunderstanding I FM and clear it right up. Sometimes the written word can't convey things in the context that it was intended.
