I so happy to be joining this board!
After 6 years of lots of IUIs, IVFs, I am proud to announce that I am pregnant! I have spent much time on the IF board and could not have gotten here without the love and support that was so selflessly given.
It's so surreal! I had my 2nd beta yesterday and things are looking good. Of course I won't relax until our little one is home in our arms, but that's a whole other issue!
We're going to the Met game tonight with my FIL, BIL and his gf. We want to tell them right away when we meet up with them, but I can't come up with a clever way to do it. We're not comfortable buying anything with "grandpa" on it or anything like that. I'm looking more for how to say it. I'd like to stun them a bit.
Any ideas?

Yaaaay! Congrats! I'll never forget how helpful you were with my PCOS/metformin questions and concerns - I couldn't be happier for you right now!!!
(no...really...couldn't be happier. My hormones are WHACKED OUT from the birth and all good news is making me cry happy tears!!!   )
As far as the game, maybe just pass a comment on how uncomfortable the seats are and that you hope the mets don't play too far into september because it'll be difficult to go with your growing belly! .... or you could stop at BBB - i know they have tiny baseball mitts. Ask "grandpa" if he wants to start gathering autographs for his tiny person!

Yay!!!!!!! You could buy a little mets baseball cap and hand it to him and say why don't you hold on to this until March/Aprilish so you can be the 1st to start the Mets tradition on another generation.....

I like the 'just casually dropping it into the conversation to see if anyone picks up on it approach' so what about something like... as soon as you meet up with them and take out the tix, saying something like "oh, there's only 4 tickets for 5 of us... but i'm sure it'll be fine" (and pat your stomach as you say it). I dont know if i'm saying it right, but the idea seemed cute in my head
