Is there anyway you can save up some money to get into an apt? I know there are apts. in people's homes that are cheaper than the complexs.

I agree - try to save some money for an apt. You shouldn't have to live where you are miserable.

Can you have a sit-down with your parents and tell them how unhappy you are?

I would get on a savings plan immediately....look around for apartments, like a previous poster said sometimes those in peoples houses are cheaper.

See how much you need to save than set a deadline for yourselves...like two months....and save, save, save to meet your move out deadline

So sorry to hear all of this. I agree with pp. The first hing you need to do is have someone watch Brianna (maybe a friend, not your parents-just so you don't add anymore fuel to the fire). You and DH need to sit down alone and figure out what you two want, and what will be best for you three. Then, set a plan based on that discussion. Yes, I understand money is tight, but there ARE alternatives. Maybe get a smaller apt (1br) at first. As a pp said, can you get a job at night?

I think the MOST important thing is speaking with DH and communicate your desire to get out of the house too.

I'm so sorry things are very rough for you right now. I'm sure if you talk to your parents and ask them to be patient with the situation, they would. Try and get enough $$ together over the next few months so you can get an apartment. It may be hard but you can do it. Try and talk to your husband and set some goals and remind each other that you are a team.

do you have a resume? I know some headhunters.. Maybe you can get a recpt job.. What about craigslist? medical billing from home?

I am 100% sure you can apply for Aid from the GOVT.. you can also apply for WIC.... Atleast that will give you $ for diapers, formula, food and they give $ for you..

I am not in your shoes but lived with my ILs when I was married to X. It ruined our relationship with them and our marriage.

Even if you cannot afford a house, you need to get out and find a rental place. Only for your own sanity. Your parents are taking over and started to tell you what to do. It's time to get back into control and you won't be able to do that if you stay with them.

Well..this is going to sound harsh, but you BOTH need to get a job to get out of the situation you are in. Will your mother watch her while you work? If not..maybe you can get an evening job while your husband is home? That will get you out of the house for a while and you'll be able to save money to move out. If your credit is bad, maybe you should think about filing for BK since you don't seem to have a means to pay back your debt. It will give you a fresh start and a BK looks 100 times better on a credit report than bad debt. FM me if you need more info on the BK route

i'm so sorry your going through this!! I'm sure it's hard to live with your parents but for the sake of your marrage you need to find a new place to live like PP have said. Does your DH have any family here or is it just your parents that live here?
