I just had to call the cops!
I was driving home with my kids, and turn onto a side street, and see about 8-10 teenagers beating the ever-living crap out of each other. Some have huge thick branches and are using them to hit each other. One kid looked about 13! I have never seen anything like this, except on TV, and was in shock at what I was seeing. They kept chasing each other, one was on the ground in the fetal position being kicked in the back and stomach and face. They would pin each other against a building and just kept punching as hard as they could, and they were all just screaming at each other. Blood was pouring from some of their heads. There were 2 women who were trying to break it up, and screaming at them to stop (I think they the mothers/sisters of some of them). I, of course, called the cops, and they got there within minutes. I left once the cops got there since I had my kids.
Seeing this made me so sad that people can really treat each other this way.

OMG. unreal. I mean I got into fights in school, but never this 15 on one crap. Why..what is the point, to show that it taked 15 of my friends to beat a single person?
So sad.

Terrible.
And what makes it even worse is someone was most likely video taping it and it's probably on youtube already.
Good for you calling the cops. Hopefully nobody was seriously hurt.

Also the sarcastic side can't resist (apologies in advance) ....
If only those kids had internet access...they could go back & forth on message boards.

That is horrible. I hate things like that.
I was out walking my dog last week and their are these kids (regular neighborhood kids) and these big kids (probably about 13) were picking on a little kid (about 8) because he was upset that someone stole a toy or something of his. The little kid just hopped on his bike and was heading somewhere else and one of the big kids runs over and pushes the little kid off his bike then all of his friends were practically encouraging him to beat up the little kid.
I was so mad. I started to walk towards them (making it look like my precious dog was on a mission) and the big ones just walked away and the little one went a different way.
Sorry to hijack, I just dont understand why kids feel the need to beat up each other.

perhaps boredom? nothing better to do? rebelling out because their parents don't pay attention to them? parents gave them everything they ever wanted? could be anything..

There were definitely 2 out of those 10 that the others were after. They kept trying to get away, and couldn't. They were all screaming and cursing, but I couldn't tell what it was about.

I may sound ridiculous and paranoid, but it goes back to my post last night about gang initiations this week. Not sure where you live, but you never know.

honestly, and it's because i see this stuff everyday... it's typical teen boys being teen boys these days. sad, scary, yes. but very common unfortunately. and unfortunately even worse, most gang initations are WAY more vile than that. good for you for calling help - not many people do.
