I am here again (in hiding)
Well, I am very surprised b/c this was not planned but I am pregnant!! I am hiding right now because I am only 4w6d. I have my first appt. on 9/15 (6w1d)....do you think they may able to see or hear a heartbeat? With my daughter I was 6w2d or 4d and they saw and heard it. Anyway I had my daughter in Sept. 2009. I am very surpirsed but very happy to be here.

I didn't have my first sono until 8 weeks, so I don't know the answer to your question, but hopefully you will see the heartbeat.

Congrats!
I had a sono at 6w5d and they were able to see a small flicker of a heartbeat, but it was too early to get any good measurements so I'm going back tomorrow, 8w1d for all of the measurements.

I had issues in the beginning of this pregnancy and had a sono done at 5 weeks 6days. They saw a heart beat and was able to get a Heart rate. With my DS I didn't have a sono till 8 weeks.

I've had sonograms with both pregnancies at 6w 5d. Both times they were able to see the heartbeat.

i went yesterday at 6wk 1 day and we saw the heartbeat, couldnt hear it but we saw it flickering away!!!

With my second, I was having some problems in the beginning so went for a "heartbeat check" at about 6 weeks to the ultrasound place. Saw it and heard it!
At 8 weeks, I had my first appointment with the OB.

Thanks everyone!!! Yes I will be 6wk1d when I Have my sono, I just want to see the heartbeat...I just get nervous at this point b/c its so early...but I guess I have to just have faith :)...who am I kidding, I am nervous all 9 months LOL ....I think we all are!!!! Actually then it is just as bad when they are born...I worry about my DD everyday lol
