Wow I am so off on my numbers. I pay licensed daycare $290 a week M-f 8-6, includes all food and snacks. 400 a week for a mom who is at home with her own two children seems high.
IMO its not one on one child care if your child is competing for attention with the caregiver actual 2 children.

i pay DH's cousin $50 a day and she has 3 kids (2 are at school and 1 is home). I provide food and drop him off and pick him up.
I also have another woman watch him one day a week, from 8-5 and pay her $90 ($10/hr)
