How many naps a day...
Does your DC's take and how long are each naps? Please give ages.
are 2 one hour naps good for an almost 8 month old? That's all I can get out of DS these days if i'm lucky...

That was my DD too at that age...if that.
Now, she's 16 months and oh, let's see...she takes about one 30 minute nap per day 
We do get lucky on rare occasions with a 1 hour + nap.

Jake is 18 mos and we are down to one 2 - 2.5 hr nap a day.
At 8 months he was still a 3x a day napper (he's always been a good sleeper). The first two naps were about 1.5 hrs each and the last was on it's way out at 45 mins.
At 8 months he should be getting around 12-15 hrs of sleep total so as long as he is falling in that range, or close enough, he is fine. Some babies are at the lower end and some are at the higher end.

My dd is 5 months old. She takes a half hour nap about 2 hours after waking up.
Then she takes a 1-3 hour nap later in the afternoon.
Before bed, she cat naps while I am holding her for another half hour.

DD is 8 months. She naps in the moring for an hour and late afternoon, usually from 2-5 or 3-6 p.m. She's in bed between 8:30 and 9 p.m.

James is almost 5 months. It varies every day. Sometimes it's a couple of hour naps. Other days its a big 2 to 3 hour nap and then a smaller nap in the afternoon. He's not on a schedule bc different people watch him every day, so it's hard. He is napping right now though.

DD is 6 months & takes 2-3 naps a day, usually about an hour or so each, but sometimes much less.

DD's almost 9 months old and only takes 2 naps, and rarely 3, each only consisting of tops 30 minutes.
She's been like this for months, i get nothing done, but it's okay, that's all she needs, and in between naps she's always in a good mood.

My DS is 8 months and usually takes one in the AM, around 10:30-11:00 and then another in the afternoon around 3-3:30. Sometimes the AM one is the longer one and sometimes the afternoon one is longer, it hasnt been set in stone yet.
My DD is 2 1/2 and just gave up naps a week or 2 ago.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant 2 naps during the whole day (1 hr and 15 minutes each nap). I knew I didn't make since when I wrote that.

Ellie takes at least two but usually three naps per day. One long one in the morning. If it's in her crib it's an hour or hour and a half. In the early afternoon she takes a 40 min nap and then if i try she'll also take a late afternoon nap also 40 min., but she somtimes skips this one. I think she's in transition. but if she doesn't get the later one she gets mighty tired and cranky by bedtime.

ahhh, I remember the days my girl napped!
She stopped napping about 4-5 mths ago - I think that was really on the early side, she was just over 2 yrs old. It's a very LONG day now but what can you do?
By 1 yr old she had already dropped her AM nap and only took a 2 hr PM nap.
