With my daughter it took me 3 months (she was conceived 3 months after I had a miscarriage). With the baby I am carrying now, it took me two years to get pregnant. I wound up doing a medicated IUI on clomid and it worked on the first shot after a few months of unmedicated IUIs.

About 3 months for both but we were just going with it both times, no temping,no oovulation tests etc....

#1 - 1st month
#2 - I was off birth control for 2 years and we were just careful during my fertile week. When we decided to go for another, we were going to skip a month and start trying and I got pregnant the month we were supposed to skip. Now DD and new baby will have almost the same birthday!

Dh and I were not trying but we weren't being careful, just letting nature take control....I didn't track ovulation or anything... So I guess you can say ds is a surprise and I was 28... Having him this week and am 29

#1 - First month
#2 - 18 months
#3 - tried for 8 months got pregnant and M/C. Started trying again 1 cycle after the M/C and got pregnant right away.
Under 30 with all 3.

#1 was a surprise, I was 28 & ended in MC
#2 1st month of trying, I was 33 & ended in MC
#3 it took 5 months, I was 34 & had DS @35

First try with #1 - I was a month shy of 27.
#2 - wasn't trying and we messed up on preventing
I was tracking my cycles to avoid pregnancy with temp and cervical fluid and we went to Europe and things got messed up. I think I ovulated much later than normal. (DS was 10 days late!) I was 30.
#3 - same as #2 except it was here in NY and i had been very lax on temp taking for months. By my calculation, ovulation probably occurred 5 days later than normal. Oops!  . We got careless but that's ok since we wanted a third anyway. I am 33, will be 34 a month after baby is due.
We'll be looking into more permanent birth control options after this!

I was 28 when we started....I am almost 32 and my twins r 7 weeks old
Took us 30 months to get a pregnancy that stuck,3 losses before that

#2: 32, 4 months, loss at 22 weeks
#3: 32, 1st month trying, currently 9 weeks along and I will be 33 when this LO arrives (god willing!!
