We do! More so when he was a newborn though. These days (almost 20 months) the clothes get a bit more worn from playing so the pickins are a bit slim. I'd say most of his toys are hand me downs though.

We definitely use hand-me downs. I think most of DS' clothes for the summer are hand-me downs from our nephew.

Yes. My niece is 7 months older than DD and they both have an older cousin and we have friends who have older daughters. Some of the stuff has been through 4 girls so far!
I've bought things at Once Upon a Child and once at Savers (only NWT)- I just wash it before she wears it!

I love when friends and relatives give me hand-me downs.
DS has the most rocking wardrobe bc of hand me downs, Ralph Lauren, Janie and Jack, Benneton, tons of gorgeous, perfect condition clothes I would never spend  on.
I love it.
I do not shop second hand stores though. People have been so generous that I have more than enough clothes for DD & DS for years to come.

I have used almost all my stuff from DS #1 for DS#2
i plan on giving them away when i am done having babies and everything is in great condition so I would hope someone will benefit

Heck yeah! There is nothing wrong with second hand clothing. Some LIF ladies on here were very nice and sent me some of thei little boy's clothing when i found out i was having a boy this time and im VERY excited to use them!

Sure, we got a ton of stuff from our cousins. Anything in good shape we kept and used. Anything that was ripped/stained/otherwise ruined got tossed.
