I always wanted 4. Now, we have a  and a  on the way..and I'm totally content if that's all we are able to have. Money and tough pregnancies are the two main factors in having more.
We will see how we are in 3-4 years, and maybe go for 3, but as of now, 2 is perfect for us.

I always wanted 2 but now that we have 2 ( a boy and a girl) I want a third REALLY, REALLY badly...DH on the other hand is on the fence - on a good day he says yes but 60% of the time he says no...so we will see but if we do decide we will have to jump on it ASAP as I am 38.

We have 2 and we're very happy. I'm still not convinced I'm done, however. DH and I have given ourselves another year, or until when our little one turns 2, to decide. I just turned 36 so we don't want to wait much beyond that to make the decision.

When we were first married we said 4 or 5. After my pregnancy and labor I said 1, but changed my mind as time has passed
My DH really wants at least 3 so I think that is what we will go with.

I am okay with it...only because I have this strong feeling that we will be a foster family in years to come.
I like the thought of josh being 8, jessie 5 and taking in a 3 year old.

Same here! We were both 100% sure we wanted 4 kids when we got married. Then after needing IVF for DS and me having a hard time with the baby stage, I was set at one. Now I'm agreeing to go for #2 and DH would probably still want 3 or 4 So I have no idea where we will end up!

I would LOVE at least 5, maybe more, but my husband wants no more than 3 (Though he used to say 2, until our son was born, then he said "ok maybe we could do 3"), so I chose 4, figuring I could maybe squeeze 1 more out of him

I honestly would love more children. 1-2 more would be great. We could probably afford it but I will be 35 and DH 41. We have had two very, very, hard babies. Both with reflux. Neither slept well for a long, long time so honestly for the sake of my marriage and being a good, sane mother to the two that I have we are done. It still makes me sad because I do love being a mom but I feel like the responsible thing for me to do is to know my limits.

I went through IVF to get my twins -- realistically, I don't *think* I can get PG again (I will not do IVF again)......but I sometimes long for another baby.

i want 3 so bad!! i feel like 3 is more manageable than 4 and 2 is too few. i want a big family so i think 3 will fulfill me!! God Willing of course!
i am pretty sure this is realistic too...
dh is more or less on board with 3.

I am thinking 2, but I would really like to have a DD...Sooo IF #2 happens to be another DS, that's fine, I MAY try for a girl one final time, otherwise, I'll just be happy with the boys :)
