How many full baths does your house have???
I broke our master bath shower Saturday--so we're down to one shower even though our house has 2.5 baths...
We haven't shared a shower since we moved from our little apartment and this morning was interesting to say the least...
Does anyone share a bathroom and get ready at the same time? How do ya make it work?

We have 2 full baths but DH and I both use the master bath. Even though it is big, we take turns, we are not in there at the same time. I need my space.

Dh and I only have one bathroom in our apartment. When we are both going into the city together, I get up first and get in the shower. While I am in there he brushes his teeth and puts in his contacts. He gets in the shower when I get out. Once I am dressed go back in the bathroom to do my make-up, during which he gets out of the shower. Then we sort of tag team depending on who needs the mirror.
It took a lot of getting used to and frustration on my part when we first started getting ready together, but now we sort of have a rhythm going and we each know what the other is doing next.

Dh and I are never in the bathroom at the same time. i never understood double sinks and stuff like that. We like our personal space.

We have one full bath, but DH wakes up MUCH earlier than I do so its never a problem in the morning.

We have 1.5 baths. We go to work at the same time. I get in the shower first. When I am done I call out and tell him I am done. He comes in when I am doing my hair/makeup and he takes a shower. I usually finish before he is done and I get out and he does what he has to do.
This only works because we have a huge bathroom. It's bigger than one of the bedrooms in our 3 bedroom house...

we have one full bath and its our only bathroom, one showers and the other gets ready in the bedroom, then we switch.

We only have one full bath but it works just fine for us since DH has to leave for work at 4am, so he showers at night.

3 full baths, DH gets ready way before me so its not a problem on work days. When we go out socially & need to be ready at the same time I shower 1st in our master bathroom, then I will do my hair & makeup in our bedroom while he's in the bathroom. We rarely use the other bathrooms for getting ready.

currently we share but it never seems to be a problem b/c we work different hours in the morning. on weekends we either shower together lol or take turns but we work it out.
if we worked at the same time or left the house at the same time it might be a problem.
when we move we have 2.5 baths as well but our master bath has two showers -- a stand-up shower and then a tub with a showerhead as well (and shower curtain). so that was kind of cool. then there's his and her sinks so we'll be getting a real treat vs. where we are now once we move in.

We have 3 full baths (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) but only use the one in the master. My DH and I don't ever get ready at the same time but if we do our shower has 2 different heads and we have a double sink. There is plenty of room for us both to do what we need to comfortably.
I can however understand how it can be hard sharing the space if you are not used to it!

We currently share 1 bathroom.. we don't even have another ½ bath. VERY annoying when we both need to be in there. We are house hunting now and it is a pre-requisite that the next house MUST have 2 full bathrooms!

we have 1 full bathroom. Luckily for us we wake up at different times for work. On the weekends we have to work out a system on when to be in the bathroom.

We just have 1 full bath, I shower first & then dry my hair & stuff in the 1/2 bath, while DH showers.
I don't remember what I did when we only had 1 bathroom. I think I left earlier then, so DH was still sleepling when I got ready.

We have 2 full baths, but we both get ready in our master bath at the same time. We just take turns... I get in the shower first since I take longer to get ready, while he brushes his teeth, shaves, etc., and he hops in once I'm done.

us too. for the first time in the almost 9 years i have known him last week i brushed my teeth in the bathroom while he was in the bathroom. we only have one bathroom in our apartment.
we leave together a lot and i usually wake up at least 15 minutes before him to use the shower first.

We have 2. We use the guest BR all the time until I broke it this weekend. So now we are using the master one. Its not an issue as DH leaves much earlier than I.

We have two full baths - one downstairs, one upstairs
however, we both use the upstairs one. I shower first in the morning, then DH comes in just as i'm done.
I dry my hair in the bathroom as he's towelling off
it's tight, but we make it work.
Neither of us uses the downstairs bathroom to get ready, mainly because it doesn't have any outlets in it and the shower pressure isn't very good. We only use it for the toilet when we're downstairs, or if we have guests over.
