How long were you married before you decided to get PG
Just a question I am not ready for a baby yet because I need to finish a few things in my life. DH has started talking about it all the time now. He knows that I have to do the things I want before getting PG. I was just wondering how long after you were married or together if not married did you decided for a baby and want made you decide it was the right time and if it just happened how are you dealing with that. TIA

2 years, but it took us 2 and a half years to finally get PG, so we weill be married 5 years in August.

We started TTC 3 months BEFORE the wedding. We couldnt wait anymore, we were constantly talking about trying after the wedding, so we just said lets do whatever happens untill the wedding and try harder after...and thats what we did. Unfortunatly we havent gotten PG yet, so we are gald we started trying early.

We decided before the wedding that we were going to try right after the wedding. We started and it took us 11 months to get pregnant.

We were married a little less than 2 years. We wanted to start trying (thinking it would take me a while to get pregnant) but it happened right away

We decided before the wedding that we were going to try right after the wedding. We started and it took us 11 months to get pregnant.
Same for us...except it took us 21 months to get pregnant.

we decided to try right after we got married in september. we really started in october and i got PG in dec. we both really wanted to have one so it was right for us.

We left it in God's hands. Were married in August and PG in October. We will be having the baby 1 month before our anniversary :)

We were married just over 1 yr before we started TTC. I wanted to enjoy the "honeymoon" phase a bit before getting serious with a baby

Just about 3 months, happened within 2 months, had a miscarriage, and we are here now almost a year later.

We were married almost 2 years.
We wanted to wait until we were married 4 years, needless to say, it happened earlier than we planned. It really threw us for a loop but in the past three months we have been adjusting.

We started trying 10 months after we got married. I found out not too long ago that I'm pregnant and we will be celebrating our first year anniversary in two weeks. 
I got pregnant on our first try.

We were married for almost 6 years. We started trying 3 months before our 6 year anniversary and got pregnant on the first try. 
ETA: We married young; Dh & I were 24 (I was turning 25 in 2 months after our wedding). We had A LOT to learn before we could even think about being parents. I also wanted to make sure we were financially, emotionally, and mentally ready for a baby. If we got pregnant earlier, we would have been fine with that too.

We decided that we would wait a year to try. We really wanted to have a year to spend alone with each other. Because of my age, we didn't want to wait any longer just in case, but it happened right away for us too.
