I have lived in one apt or another for 9 years (5 years since I graduated college) and we are waiting for board approval for our co-op!

I lived in an apartment for 8 years before we put an offer in on our house. DH is about the same (we've only lived together for one year).

I had been renting since around my 21st b/day...got married at 31 (almost 32) and bought my house at 33 (almost 34).

Co-ops are a no-bueno...Not a good invensment in my opinion. We just sold ours and are sti;; waiting for the board to give our purchaser a date for an interview and she handed in the paperwork almost 2 months ago. Plus, when you sell, they make you pay them a fee...Ours is $10,000. It sucks!

this is my 5th and hopefully the last year
2 years in the city- with a roomate- I would never take that back
2 years in an apartment in long beach - while engaged - then married
and 1 year in our bayside apartment- while we figure out what we want to do next
