How excited is DH?
Just wondering..for all you ladies thinking off TTC, Or are TTC how do your DH's feel? Are they as excited as you? Do you guys talk about it all the time? DH and I are def. thinking off TTC by the end of the year and I find myself constantly talking about it. I know he is excited but doesnt express it as much as me. How do your guys do?

With our first DH was just sort of along for the ride. Now that we are working on #2 he is really into it. Constantly talking about what life would be like with 2 kids. Asking me when I'm ovulating. And so on. It's really cute. But I think the first time he just went with it because he was more nervous about the whole concept than anything else.

DH is kinda mixed. He is all on board for TTC and he tells me he is excited but he thinks im crazy with temping, OPK's, etc. he says "it should happen when it happens" blah blah blah! i dont wanna use that method because it would take longer to know if something was medically wrong.
once in a while he drops lines on me though that lets me know he is into it.
the other night i was watching Teen Mom and they were feeding the baby and he goes "i want a baby, i miss that stage" (DH has 2 boys already from a previous relationship)

My Dh is all for TTC, but isn't into talking about it as much as me. I also wanted to use OPK and stuff, but he doesn't get why. I think because it is our first time TTC, he is nervous.

DH is on board but I think the whole thing freaks him out. He has told me that hes thinks hes not ready but in the next breath says he is. So I think hes scared and really who isnt? Its life changing.

Glad to hear Im not alone in this one. I am just soo excited (but also scared but def. more excited lol). I dont really think DH is nervous (hes not the type) but hes not as excited as I am yknow? But he def. wants a baby but I do understand that I am a woman and as women we tend to be more overly excited over something than men are haah. Thanks again ladies

Same with my DH. He doesn't talk about it much and up until two months ago he grunted when I brought it up but as the day we both agreed to start TTC came closer the "grunting" stopped, he has accepted it and is now on board. Thank god.
I do however, keep the stress of TTC off him.

DH is excited, but very nervous! he wants a LO as much as i do, but he is looking at the bigger picture and his a little scared.
we ALWAYS talk about having a LO. like all the time, its bad.

DH wasn't on board which is why we waited till this month (August). He is excited now, but terrified. He said the other day he really wants to have a child, but maybe we should wait another month.  I told him no because it most likely won't happen the first month anyway, so now he's back on board.

With DS, DH wasnt excited at all until probably 6 months into my pregnancy. (when I really started showing)
Its not in DH's nature. He is such a worry wart about everything that all he can think about is all the stuff to be done, the financial picture, the added pressure, the difficulty of getting a second kid ready to leave the house etc.
He is a great dad and is excited every day to see DS when he comes home but the anxiety about HAVING a child before they are actually here is too much for him to truly just be "excited" about it!
