I'm going to take DH to Argyle park in Babylon. That's where he was going to propose until his friends talked him out of it.

DH is an architect, so I had a friend of ours create a "plan" for me to slip into one of the sets he's working on that says You're Going to be a Daddy!, and then when he starts talking about the job I'll ask him to see the plans (I'm in construction too). Not easy to hide a 36" piece of paper, but I have all ready to go, now I just need the BFP!

the last time i got PG i just called him up estatic.. but this time i want to do something more creative!
i was thinking of getting him a little Marine outfit that says "my daddy is a marine" with the pregnancy test sitting on top of it.. 
i will leave it for him on his pillow or something

Whenever we travel, we buy a Christmas ornament...we remember all the trips we've taken when we decorate our tree each year.
I bought him a Christmas ornament...it's a stork with a baby hanging down. I had it engraved with "Surprise!!!" and 2009.
I can't wait to give it to him....I hope it happens..

All of your ideas are great......
My DH works out of town most weeks, so if I find out mid-week and can hold it in that long, more than likely I will just blab it over the phone, I really just wanted to get him nice lovely card and maybe write it in there or tell him over a romantic dinner???

i have been thinking about this for quite some time....
at first i was like, i'll just burst out of the bathroom and freak....but as i read your ideas - i'm thinking maybe something more creative may be needed...
We're HUGE movie fans - so maybe something movie related...but it'll have to be one he knows A LOT...
He's also a sports fan - so the choices there are unlimited!

I have had a white t-shirt and iron on emblem from ebay that says I am going to be a big sister for months now. I figured its not a jinx if its not ironed on yet

Do you imagine how you'll announce your BFP on here? I sometimes wonder how I'll do that!
this is pretty much what i did!!! the minute i got my bfp, ALL of my elaborate plans flew out the window. I just couldn't wait to tell him right then and there!!! He teared up!!! it was so cute... i'll never forget it!

I'll be done with my 2ww right around Father's Day. So I was thinking of wrapping the test in a box and giving it to him as a present. I hope it happens this month 'cause other than that I don't have any cute ideas.
When I got PG in Oct, before my m/c, I had taken one of DD's onesie undershirts and ironed on letters from Michaels that read "Mom's knocked up" then I asked him to put her pajamas on. Turns out, he changed her in front of the TV and was distracted so he missed it. I had to say "Did you see her undershirt???". When he read it he was excited, but it wasn't the same...

I remember that all the time!!! I would love to have done something like that but I just know that DH would NEVER get it!!! I have to be a bit more obvious...

I might have to steal this idea. I love it!!! And DH loves cupcakes. He is a bit dense, so I have to hope that he'd figure out what the pink and blue meant...

DH wanted to videotape the proposal. He wanted to read me a poem or something also but his friends thought that was stupid or something like that. It was so long ago I forget. I told DH I wanted to be proposed to in private but I guess his friends' feelings outweigh mine. The ironic thing was that we were watching a girl's wedding video and her pics were taken there and I told everyone that DH was going to propose there and his friend was like this is much nicer than my living room (which is where DH ended up proposing).
