Honest opinions about microfiber couches...
?
Do you like the look of it? Do you think the fabric is outdated? There seems to not be many other options out there for couches that I like ??

I love it!
I think it is rich looking, very comfortable, can fit in any room and easy to clean.

we have a beige microfiber couch that we LOVE!!
its nice and soft to sit on, and its really easy to clean spills or whatever off of... the saleslady had told us to just use windex, and it works!! even got pen out of it when DH sat on it with a pen in his pocket
our friends tell us its the most comfy couch they've ever sat on LOL

looks wise, its Okay to me, but its so durable if you have children. I dont like the look with throw pillows to match, or without throw pillows at all. I usually work with the colors in the room and use some really nice pillows with rich looking trims.

i didnt get mine for looks...it's so comfortable. but it's not bad looking, just not formal or modern. when i move into my house i'm going to put it in the den and get new furniture for the living room. and it's so easy to clean.

Its comfortable and EASY to maintain!!!!!! I can't tell you the amount of times DH dropped something on it and the stains came right off with a wet sponge. Great investment if you have a little one who will be running around with his sippy cup and snacks soon

Depending on the sofa/mfg sometimes I think it looks cheap. But I have also seen it look really nice. Mitchell Gold sofas look really nice in microfiber.
We are considering it for our den when we replace the sofa there. I used to be in the furniture industry, and it's definitely very durable. Once complaint that I have heard is that it's very "static-y." Not sure if that's true or not.

I would not do another microfiber couch again. Granted we don't have an expensive set in our den but it has worn like garbage and I'm ready to replace it with a leather set. It attracts dog hair and has water spots from where I tried to spot clean it.

If you have more than 1 room with acouch, to me its more of the den couch, than the living room couch.
I think it is a fairly casual & contemporary style, and won't really be a timeless style down the road, but they're not ugly or anything.

I ordered a microfiber couch. I have a cat and although she's good, I don't want her sharpening her claws on the couch. They are very durable, easy to clean and mine is so comfy! It's a matter of opinion. When I have a more formal living area I would go with a different fabric.

we just bought a new couch set yesterday - I am personally not a fan of the microfiber. I am not crazy about the feel to them either but mostly it's the look I do not care for.

I love our microfiber couch! So comfy!
I had to reconsider this too, cause I have a dog and a baby.
Leather was our other option but was getting too pricey for us.
So far, its great and very happy with it.

I think they look nice enough and are comfy, I know we'll end up getting one since DH insists on a couch w/ dual recliners, and so far I've pretty much only seen that on microfiber couches.

DH and i have a couch, a loveseat and a chaise in brown microfiber - to me, it looks very rich, is super comfortable, and cleans VERY easily (cat puke included - don't ask).

We have ours for 3 years now & it looks brane new. DH has spilled things on it & even wrote on it (while working from home sick one day). Everything came right out with a wet sponge. I find it to be one of the most comfy couches I have ever sat on.

we just bought one from Bob's.
after 5 years of living w/ a twill couch from ABC carpet & Home we had to get a new one b/c the twill was IMPOSSIBLE to clean... I like the look of them- although i do like fabric, at this stage in our lives- it isn't worth it.
