Help!! I dont know what to do!!! UPDATE
ok...so to make a long story short, like Bubbs, I miscalculated my cycle and since I didnt have success with OPKs this month (never got a positive) I dont know exactly when I ovulated. I did BD regularly the entire week just to be sure....
So I was waiting for Af on Monday but she didnt show I went back to count my cycle days and realized I could have a longer cycle this month just like last month...So as I was reading the posts on here I had a moment of weakness and ran to the bathroom to POAS.
Well...I had just peed half an hour ago and needless to say my urine was trickling down (very little pee)..So I held it there for as long as I can but it was only two maybe three seconds...
I waited one minute and saw the faintest line ever!! I dont know if it was a positive or an evap. I even took it apart to be sure and lo and behold the extemely faint line was there...
At 15 DPO (accoring to my new calculations) shouldnt I get a dark line??...was the line really faint b/c there wasn't enough urine?....Should
I wait until tomorrow morning (I'll die) or wait another 4 hours???
UPDATE-I took another test this morning and I got another extremely light line almost phantom line...I dont know..At this point with AF late, I should have a much darker line....Either way I have an appointment with the doc next week..

Was the line grey, like a shadowy line? If so, that's likely an evaporation line. It's happened to me several times. If it was pinkish/colored, then it may be a positive.

OMG this could be it and it may just be faint because of not enough urine. Wait until the morning and test again! Good Luck!!!!

It could be because of not enough urine. Wait 4 hours and pee again.
Good Luck. Don't drink a lot it will dilute it.

i would use FMU and pee in a cup instead! hold the tip of the stick in the urine for about 20 seconds (the HPT should have instructions) and then lay it flat - this should give you an answer! good luck!!!

ok this sounds good to me! i would test again of course! but its sounds sooooooooooooo promising, stephy! and as far as i know u dont have to have a dark line at 15dpo bc some women dont even get a faint line even when they are full blown pregnant! test againnnnnnnnnnnn

I think you should wait until morning and urinate again. Like someone else said, pee in a cup first. It's much easier and if you get a positive, you can test again with the same urine.

Just because AF is late you shoud not have a darker line, it takes some women almost 3 weeks after AF is late to get a dark line. I would one take a digital tommorow morning and 2 silently celebrate, a line is a line!

I don't want to get your hopes up but pink is pink did you use FRER? They usually don't have evaps, at least I haven't heard too many stories about evaps on them!!!

Listen...I line is a line. WHen I was going through all of that stuff a few days ago and called my doctor, the nurse said that sometimes the preg. tests you can buy don't start showing that you are pregnant for weeks and many woman have to come in and get blood work to confirm and STILL have very healthy pregnancys. After that I was still hoping and praying for a line at almost 17dpo-I didn't care how light it was!
Congratulations!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Sounds just like what happened to me a few months ago. Wait another day and then test again. I got phantom lines for two days and then a positive on a digital. Good Luck I KNOW how frustrating it is. I was in tears all day.

Also Stephy, since you don't know when you ovulated you may not even be late yet!
And, I'm just realizing this month that my luteal phase is 16 days, not 14. So next month I'm not going to test until 16 dpo because that's when AF will be due. This could be the same for you.
I'm really hoping for you!
