help - what color - front door? (pic)
I would love to paint the mailbox and front door of our new house.
the house is a gray and the roof is black. I am thinking either red or a medium shade of blue?
we also plan to change the house number to black.
any suggestions? or pictures of gray houses with painted doors?

I love your house. Our siding is a little darker and same color roof. Right now our door is white but we might have it painted black.

Beautiful house.
I would go with red for the front door, to complement the walkway/pavers.
Also, my house is brick on bottom, and has gray siding with black shutters on the top half. We currently have a white door, but I JUST said to my DH the other day that I want to get a dark red door to give it a little more punch and curb appeal. (Although I think your house looks great as is, too.)

A house near me has that color siding and roof and they went with a slate blue - looks great.

Also I am just thinking...what product is your door made of? Wood or steel? Or fiberglass?
If it's a factory finish on the door and sidelights, I would not ruin that. Factory finish is much better than a paint job IMO. Plus i would not paint the door a different color than the sidelights, and I would not paint the sidelights (therefore I would not paint the door). JMO

I think white, navy blue or black.
Not crazy about red or medium blue for your house.

This is awesom! Thanks so much. I love the blue. I guess my only hesitation is the style of door? Do we paint the side glass also?

But your house has so much more curb appeal than ours with the style of siding, beautiful landscaping all over and nice windows already! I think its perfect the way it is!

thanks C maybe we'll leave it for now... paint the mailbox and get black numbers.
In the future, I'd like to change the entry to an arched portoco with pillars, maybe we will mess with the door then  (so many ideas, now we just need $$) lol
