Do you believe in ghosts?

I do believe in ghosts but have never seen one.

I believe in them.

I have had a few experiences, but have not actually seen one that has the size/shape of a human. I've seen other things - foggy-ish, vapor-ish things, as well as seen and heard strange things go on. This was all in a house I lived with with my parents.

I've also had a dream once where someone who passed away was in it. Very, very vivid. And peaceful.

I believe in spirits and presences. I lived in an apartment that I was convinced was haunted. ETA i never saw anything looking like a ghost but definitely saw and felt things.

I have never seen one but I heard one speak when I was a teenager. I was standing in the kitchen doing dishes when I was arguing with my mom in another room - it was just the 2 of us home alone on a weekend night, when we heard a raspy voice hiss "Oh shhusssh.. you.. already!".. and we stopped and I assumed it was my mom but she said she heard it and thought it was me! We walked around the entire house and no one was around. The kitchen faces a fenced in backyard and we knew there was no one there.. and the voice seemed to come from INSIDE the room....we never heard it again - but my mom swears there was someone in the kitchen at the time..and had made its presence known..

I also believe in UFOs and aliens - seriously because there are so many unexplainable events in history and throughout this world that have no logical explanation (MUFON evidence). I am a big fan of the Ancient Aliens and UFO Hunters shows on the History Channel.

Yes, I believe there is something after death.

I personally have never "seen" a ghost before, but I have had experiences throughout my life that make me believe that my loved ones were showing their presence

I don't know if I believe in ghosts but I'm open to the idea that the supernatural exists & that not everything can be explained by science as it exists today.

I've never seen a ghost but if I did, I'd probably still be undecided

I'm not sure...something kind of strange/creepy happened in my house a while ago. Out of no where my dog jumped up from where she was curled up and started freaking out like someone was there and then all of a sudden the fire alarm started beeping. But it stopped after just a couple of beeps. And after that the dog calmed down, and no more beeps from the fire alarm. It didn't need new batteries and hasn't done that before or since. DH thinks I'm crazy, but I think something was there to cause that.

I never did, at all, until I had my DD.

I was very close with my Grandpa, he died in 1999. I think about him always and miss him terribly. When I was pregnant with my DD in 2008 I was sad that he would never get to know Emerson or meet her. He lived for his grandkids and would've just melted over his first great granddaughter.

Anyway, I was in the hospital with my DD that first night, it was just me in the room, late at night, nobody around and I was holding her in my arms. I had a strange feeling that someone was looking over my right shoulder. A really strong feeling that someone was right behind me. Then I felt a slight pressure on my right shoulder which made me turn around but of course, nobody was actually there. I could NEVER shake the feeling that is was my Grandpa coming to meet his granddaughter and check up on us.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, my mom dragged my sister and I to a medium and my Grandpa came through. I asked if it was him that night and she said that it was which at first I was skeptical of because she could've just said yes to my question regardless. But then she started describing how my DD looked in the hospital and what the blanket looked like that we took her home in (which wasn't the standard hospital blanket) that I was shocked! She had to have been making contact with my Grandpa, how else could she have known details about my DD in the hospital??!! There is just NO way!!

So between my experience in the hospital and with the medium I'm starting to really believe in the afterlife. And to be honest, it's comforting. I am not religious by any means but there is some comfort in the thought that my Grandpa, and other family members, are in a good place and they are happy and watching out for me. I like that idea, I like feeling like my Grandpa, especially, will always be with me.

Edit - There are some other experiences with other people in my family that also make me believe. Too much to write!

Eh, not so much. I wont say never, but its rare IMO.

I know a few people who are obsessed with this spirit stuff and def attribute wayyy too much ordinary stuff to ghosts or spirits. Drives me batty.
