Have you heard of the infidelity site, Ashley Madison??
I was listening to z100 this morning and they were talking about this site.....its a website where you can have extra-marital affairs with other married people....basically an infidelity dating site where you can meet others who share your desire to cheat.
some were saying that the guy whose making the money off the site who created it, is disgusting and scummmy for making money off people's infidelity. while others were saying that people are gonna cheat -- so this guy was smart enough to make money about it.
i'm totally scanning the site to see if i know anyone. 
thoughts?

Once the word gets out all the wives (and husbands) will be up on there looking to find their spouse...

I personally think the site is disgusting, but if people are out there married and looking to cheat they will do it anyway even if this website wasnt there.

I've heard of it, they used to advertise on O & A, went to it once - but I thought you had to join to see people so I clicked off.

As for the guy who founded the site, well, he's just a business man. He found a niche market and is working it. I guess good for him.

Totally already doing it
it takes about 30 seconds to make a screen name to browse thru profiles--but you have to join to respond and stuff to it. i'm just looking at it for morbid curiousity

There is another one I think is worse for some reason - it's for "the other woman" where they can whine about their married lovers not leaving their wives, etc. I read some of the stuff on there and it’s terrible, like they make fun of the wives and they see how to sabotage the marriages so the married man will leave the wife for them. It made me SICK!

Pathetic. Even the name is obnoxious and pathetic--I can't explain why, but eeverything about this rubs me the wrong way. What's sad is that there are people prone to this--whether or not it exists.

OMG, yes, I hear this commercial on Howard Stern all the time.
It makes you wonder what kind of people are actually out there in the world.
You should hear the one commercial for it. This guy seriously sounds like a stalker...its ridiculous.

I think my cousin may belong to this website . He is single though. But I hope he isn't pursuing other married women.
We went to visit my Aunt, Uncle and him in Maine and I was using his laptop and I typed in www.a . . and that came up as a choice so I was like hmm and saw it was some kind of a dating site.
Like others are saying this isn't the only one around, craig's list is very popular amongst others.

I just looked at this - they actually have grammar correction threads... and there was drama going on and someone started a thread where the post was just an angry red face. So posters jumped on board with their angry red faces... So another asked - I I guess this is the thread to have an argument?" And someone posted, "No, this is the angry red face thread!" I nearly pi ssed myself!!!
