i have, but never on dh. i cheated on my college boyfriend. i guess i knew things weren't great, but i wanted that stability. i always had sorority formals and everything and liked knowing that i always had a date. stupid, huh? i did fall in love with someone else when i was with my college boyfriend. the guy who lived across the hall from my apt....he was gorgeous, and so so smart, but he lived with his girlfriend (and a few other people)! we were sneaking around...and it was fun because it was exciting.
i would never, ever cheat in my marriage, but it is hard knowing i will never have another first kiss. i know i gave up excitement for stability, and i never regret it, but i can see why people might do it. don't get me wrong, i will never, ever cheat, but sometimes i do get sad knowing that the honeymoon part of our relationship is done. the flowers, the notes....sometimes i feel taken for granted, and i think someone weaker would then cheat to get that attention.
I feel the same way Beth and wonder (at times) IF I am strong enough......

I cheated on my HS boyfriend when I went to college. I was young and didn't know how to handle a long distance relationship or attention from other guys. I felt sick to my stomach when it happened, and I told him the next day. I'm not proud of what I did, but I've learned from the mistakes I made.

Never. Completely agree with this.
I could never look him in the eye again. I couldn't live with myself.

On all my ex-boyfriends... I loved the danger of getting caught, the "soap opera" drama and the fun... these were all before I met DH when I was 20 yrs old.

I cheated once on my first real boyfriend out of high school. He was my first everything and afer 2 years together, someone else came around and was so smooth and I made the mistake of cheating on my boyfriend because I wanted to see what it was like i guess, being with someone else. It ruined our relationship and it was the worst feeling of my life knowing how badly I hurt him and it took me years to get over it and try and forgive myself(which I never have)
That being said: I would never even dream of cheating especially in my marriage.. it hurts both people and not worth it.

I cheated on my ex boyfriend. and I was older- 27... I am not proud for doing it. We were on the outs but were still "together".
And it wasnt just with anyone. It was someone I was and still am very close to and was attracted to BEFORE I even met my boyfriend...we just never acknowledged our feelings for each other.
bf never found out. I realized that night I had deep feelings for the other guy...broke up with bf a few weeks later and admitted I had feelings for the other guy.
6 years later, after trying to date him and not working, getting married and anulled, dating an idiot, I am happily dating that other guy....
