My grandmother had brain cancer, lung cancer (she lost a lung), skin cancer and ovarian or cervical cancer. They told her when I was born she had 6 months to live. She passed away a few years ago from something totally unrelated.
Although this is hard news, focus on the good. The brain cancer is in remission. Celebrate that as best you can.
