I am so sorry to hear this
But I urge you to get another opinion- they told my Mom she had brian cancer after beating lymphoma- and they were wrong- (and "they" were Sloane Kettering)
I will keep praying for you

Good news- Seems as though head cancer is in remission
Bad News- It appears as though she has Lung Cancer and that there is one spot in her Lymph Nodes
she is still trying to get her mind around this cruel news

Thank you all for you kindness, prayers, love and support. I really do appreciate them. I am working on getting my head around everything. As much I want to appreciate te good news I am too much of a worrywort to let the other news fall to the wayside.
I will be going in next week for some more tests and to get a biopsy and ofter that I will meet up with my oncologist and the pulminologist and we have a clearer idea of what is going on.
I need to have a few weak days before I can pull myself up off the floor and be back to strong and positive me.

btw, I am going to update the cancer thread I have. Please don't feel as though you have to respond to the other one too. I just like having one blog about my journey so that people can read my story in one place. I hope that doesn't bother anyone. When I first started the thread last eyar it made more sense to me than to start a new thread every time I got a new diagnosis or everytime something changed.

I am so incredibly sorry to read this! It is so sad to get such good news but also sad news at the bad time.
Please know that you and your family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. You have been so strong in the past and such an inspiration to so many of us and I'm sure you will make it through this time with the same strength.

I must say you are an extremely strong and courageous woman and I know you will get through this!!! What great news that your brain cancer is in remission The lung cancer will be beat.....I know you can do it....stay strong and you have all of us for support

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through and have been over the past year. You are very strong and admiral.
From my knowledge NYC had the best team of doctors so mabye if you can get an appointment with someone from NYC to get a second opinion.
Try and stay strong and my prayers are with you and your family!
