Has anyone driven from...
Anywhere near Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton to Fort Myers Florida?
I was looking to know if it could be done as a day trip.

Yup! From the North Shore, we leave around 11pm-12am, w/ minimal stops except for quick bathroom breaks and a quick breakfast and we arive in Deerfield Beach around 9pm. It works out roughly to be a 22 hour drive depending on traffic/stops you make

I've never done the drive, but It's probably about a 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour drive. I guess it's doable as a day trip. I mean, I travel to my father out on Long Island and he's about 2 hours from me and we always do it in a day.
