Happy Birthday to my divalicious little monkey
My little singing, booty-shakin' Diva is officially 2 years old, as of today 
I can't exactly put into words how it makes me feel. I'm just so proud of her and how smart, quick, funny, spunky and outrageous she is. Every single day she amazes me with something she's learned, or something she does.
It was one hell of a ride getting here, and I remember vividly just wishing day after day that I could press a fast-forward button to move through all the colic and get to the fun parts.
Now that I'm here in the fun stage, I want to stop time. It brings tears to my eyes to think that this little, loving, innocent, spunky little creature will one day wake up and decide that she would rather play with her friends than mommy and daddy. 
To my little Alex with a BIG BIG personality - as hard as it is being a mommy of a spirited little girl, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love every little bit of you, even the part of you that pounds your little fists on the ground screaming no mommy. I love you more than words could ever express.

You should save your post, and show it to her when she is grown up, or maybe include it in a scrap book, its so so sweet.
