Going to a hard week
so yesterday we found out that DH's father passed away...
it was unexpected and sudden! out of the no where! so things have been kinda crazy! his father lives in jersey and we were there all day yesterday, makeing arrangements etc...
its been really hard because FIL has an 8yr old daughter who witnessed everything and was the one who called 911, after all his brothers got together we were the one who had to tell her! it was really hard.
We have a Dr.'s apt tonight so hopefully hearing the baby's heartbeat will cheer DH up a little.
We also decided that if we have a boy now, that we will take FIL's name for the middle name.
Originally our boy name was going to be Luke Tyler Duda
but now it is going to be
Luke Donald Duda
(that sounds ok right) donald is prob not my fav name in the world, but it kinda feels right because of everything that happened and the fact that our baby's due date is 2 days before FIL's bday!

Oh, no. That is horrible. I am so so sorry for you and your husband's loss. Your family will be in my thoughts.
I think the name will be perfect and a nice way to honor your FIl. Im so sorry :(

So sorry again. I know what you mean about the bday thing though. DH lost his grandfather (of course not quite the same, but they were extremely close) quite unexpectedly over Thanksgiving, and his bday is 7/3, and we're due 7/4, so you never know what could happen, and I think his family is really hoping that the baby is born then as an added comfort...so hope the same for you.
