Girl names?
Again we are not finding out the sex (although it's probably a girl only because everything seems so much harder to chose...names, bedding, etc.)
We are doing alright with boys names, but we really don't agree on girls names. Here are some of our picks.
Mine: Brooke Olivia Sophia
His: Katya *(DH's favorite) Nadia Natalia
Neutral: Angelina Gwen
Please tell me which you like the most and least out of all the names.
Thanks!

Re: Girls names?
I love the name Natalia but would never use it b/c I knew 2 girls with that name in HS.
I'm not a huge fan of Gwen, but it's not horrible. I guess out of your whole list, it's my least favorite.
Brooke is pretty and not terribly common anymore, so that's nice.

Re: Girls names?
Honestly-- I think a lot depends on your last name. We had to rule out a lot of girls names because otherwise our daughter (if we have a girl) would be confused with an 85 year old woman living in Boca.
From what you posted, I like: - Nadia- mainly because when I was little I loved Nadia Commaneci.
- Brooke-- is simple and can go with a more difficult last name. Although I prefer monosyllabic names for middle names.
- Sophia-- but, this can pose a problem with a last name.

Yes I agree. This is the problem. Our last name is long...and russian. Honestly all of the names do flow with the last name (despit some being long).
I feel like the names DH likes are all very Russian and with the last name it will sound too russian.
Angelina was listed in the name book as russian, so I told him that was a possibility.

Re: Girl names?
I love the names that your DH picked out and Angelina. Natalia was our second choice for DD (we waited to see what she looked like). Katia was on our list when we went to the hospital and then we narrowed it down to 2 names. Actually, it was going to be Natalia Angelina.
I also want to add that I think you are having a boy. I found that with my 2 that before we found out what we were having we couldn't agree with the sex that we weren't having.

DH and I were thisclose to naming our DD Gwendolyn. It was "the" name for months until he gave into my top choice. I also looooove Brooke (it's my new niece's middle name, so it was out for us at this time) and Angelina.
