At this age I want everything to be from Santa. Maybe around 4 or 5 we will introduce gifts from us as well as Santa.

I split it up. One thing LO got was really big and he already saw it, so that will be from us along with the accessories. Also the more "boring" items are from mommy and daddy. Cool and fun stuff from Santa. Separate paper.

One day, when they no longer believe, they will realize it was all from us and we will get our props.  I really don't see a need to differentiate.

I will do like my mom did. A gift from us and the animals. All the rest from Santa. This year she won't understand so all is from Santa wrapped in Santa paper.

It's all from Santa in our house too. That's how it was growing up for me, too. All the toys for the kids were from Santa. Presents for the adults were from each other/ the kids bc Santa only brings to kids and not adults. Also, we buy her stuff throughout the year, so it's not as special as thinking Santa brought presents for Christmas.

Everything that was on there list is from Santa. Santa has his own paper.
Things i think they would like or stuff that they want but forgot to put on the list is from us. My kids are 7.5, 6.5 and 2.5. They started asking where there presents were when I started putting others out under the tree. I want to say when they could read there name they were looking for presents from us.Even the little one is excited when I show her a present that is for her.

This year we are giving him new pjs on christmas eve from us and the rest is from santa. As he gets older we may give him a few gifts from us but it will mostly be from santa.

This is what we do too. I feel like they believe for such a short time in life that it should all be from him. The only thng from us is clothes which they hate lol.

I dont actually TELL DS anything. He wakes up chrsitmas morning and there are gifts. The glow pet is from me however since he was a snoop and found it.

Everything has always been from Santa.
This year there is one gift from me because I bought his step-brother the same gift, and he's a nosy kid and I don't want him to put two and two together

at my youngest's age, I don't, DC doesn't know the difference. For my older kids, once they were old enough to remember what they asked Santa for, those were gifts from Santa.
We have them make up a full list and then ask them which of those items they would like to ask Santa for and that is the letter we "send" to Santa.

Santa gives whats in the stocking.. everything else is from who it says its from and she'd better say thank you.
ETA: santa only gives the stockings since he gives to all the boys and girls. All the big gifts and stuff are from parents who tell their kids its from santa, but Santa gives to everyone, small, rich or poor, so he is always fair, always even. So many kids in the world you know. So no, santa didn't get you that big gift, mama did. but Mama sent it to santa and if you've been good he'll send it back packaged. Odd very complicated thing but I always wanted her to know who gifts came from and to say thank you to everyone. Plus she quickly caught on and loves to give gifts to others.

For older DD (7 yrs) I do a few things from us that I think are obvious (if she saw it, got the same for someone else etc) the rest from santa. For younger DD (6 months) I got her one outfit and one toy and then did 2 gifts from santa. And for SS (16 yrs) only stocking is from santa. At 16 santa doesn't bring gifts anymore. It got too difficult because he usually talks about it too much and wants a big gift for everyone to chip in.

All gifts are always from Santa.
Even gifts i give my parents or my parents give me and DH are signed Santa.
It makes it easier to get DS to believe, and the rest of us know who they are from anyway.
When thanking for the gift, we just say "Thank you Santa" at the table. The person knows what we mean.

Not normally out of the car seat realm here but - Clothing and crappy gifts from grandma and old aunt tilly - cool stuff from Santa! No reason letting the big guy get the bad rep for underwear and ugly sweaters

We have xmas pj and a book for xmas eve from us. We also will give him some little things like coloring books and books and a dvd but everything else will be from santa. I grew up with a gift or two from mom but the rest from Santa. I think it would be weird to think as he got older that mom and dad bought for everyone else but not for their own child. I know he will understand when the jig is up but I want him to also see that mom and dad give to him as well.

It's about half and half. I let Santa give the bigger things, but they also get a lot from mom and dad.

Same as many have already said, but the big stuff will come from Santa, and the small stuff will come from us. With the exception of one or two things under the tree, it is really just the stuff in the stocking.
