I had the exact same results when I was pregnant with DD and was also 27
I was freaked out and talked into the amnio.
I realized after that it is still LESS than 1% and that the blood results are so unreliable. I will not make the choice of getting an amnio with this one unless the ratio comes back MUCH lower and there are markers.
I know you already decided, so just make sure you rest after. I didnt relaize how much it would take out of me (emotionally) and I really did sleep for the remainder of the day.

im so sorry that you have to go through this I think it's great that you are being proactive. The test does have a lot of false positives. Both of my cousins has false positives, both had amnios and both had perfect babies

i'm so sorry you're going through all of this...i will definitely be thinking of you and praying for you and your DH...your dr's are going to take very good care of you and you'll get the answers that you need. did they give you any idea how long it will take to get the results?
