Fun 4 All in Port Jeff, anyone ever been??
We are thinking about taking DS there. It seems to be something he would love since he really enjoys to run around, crawl through things, slide down slides, etc.
Has anyone ever taken DC there?
It seems pretty reasonable at $10.99 for him, and we go free.
Do the bigger kids seem to take over the place? I feel like they always run him over at the playground.

Re: Fun 4 All in Port Jeff, anyone ever been??
Sorry to hijack your board, but have been there a couple of times and thought I could be a help. My DH filmed their commercial a few years ago. My niece was in it and she was around 2 at the time... they didn't let her on 80-90% of the stuff, and even for the commercial, the older kids kind of took over the place. Last year my other nephew (DH's side) had his 3rd birthday party there. My niece (now 4 years old) went on everything, but there were some younger kids there. The employees weren't strict at all as far as how old the kids had to be to go on each thing.... how old if your DC?

I went there all the time with the 3 kids I nanyed for a number of yrs ago. I DEFINITELY think it is NOT for your DS. At the time, the kids were 10, 8 and 4 and I had to be all over the 4 yr old bc it is taken over by all of the older kids. I mean if you want to be right up his butt the whole time, then maybe... I could see him getting knocked right over. If you really want to check it out...go early when its dead. Once the parties start...its crazzzzzy! My dd is 17 months...I wouldnt take her.

We go all the time and my 2 1/2 year old has a blast
ETA: We usually go on week days before 2 p.m. We've never seen a kid older than 5-6 there

He is 2. I was definitely thinking of going during the week in the morning, when all the big kids are in school.
I can totally see the big kids knocking him over, so the weekends would be out.
Thanks everyone for your help and input!!!

Re: Fun 4 All in Port Jeff, anyone ever been??
I take my dd there on her birthday. I took her for her 2nd and now her 3rd. I can tell you while she did have fun last birthday she couldn't do as much. This year for her 3rd birthday she was on everything. They took away the basketball court and the 2 ball pits and put 3 jumpers in there place. We went during the week during school hours and 2 of the jumpers were deflated. I think it's worth a try knowing what you have been told on here and IF you go during the week like you said. But if there big kids are there, just be prepared.

We've been there a few times. I would HIGHLY Recommend staying away on the weekends or on days when school is out. Other than that, I think your DS would have fun...you do have to keep a close eye in him though.

I live a couple blocks from there so we walk up there. I took DD a couple of weeks ago and they have a bunch of inflatables now, including a maze geared for the toddlers. She had fun and she's only 1. I even took her down the huge inflatable slide with me a few times and she LOVED that! Weekdays are not crowded at all. They have coupons on their site.

Re: Fun 4 All in Port Jeff, anyone ever been??
Ive been with Ryan a few times...
Here are my thoughts:
DO NOT go on a weekend or holiday. Try and go on a weekday; in the morning, while kids are at school.
Be prepared to climb, jump and dangle. Ryan can go on EVERYTHING but I have to accompany him.
Bring lots of sanitizer, IMO the place is kinda dirty. To be totally honest I swore that I would never take DS again, after my last visit where a 3yr old girl ran around in a bathing suit, no socks or underwear
