Fresh Herbs -
Do you buy them weekly so you always have them on hand or do you buy them as needed?

As needed because they are expensive and often go bad quickly.
Otherwise, I grow herbs in my garden...usually sage, rosemary, parsley and basil.

I was buying them as needed, but it was expensive and I had a lot of waste. Now I'm trying to grow them myself. It's working out so far.

I buy them, wash them, dry them, chop them and freeze them. Then I always have fresh on hand

when i get home with the fresh herbs, I wash them, wrap them in a damp paper towel and put them in a ziplock bag, each herb seperatly. They last much longer that way.
