for those that registered at BBB and BRU

my shower invites went out last week and a few big items were already purchased!!

i purposefully registered more of the big ticket items at BBB because i like the store better and because you can use all the coupons there and i thought my guests would appreciate that.

although i know its early, i noticed that every single thing that got purchased was purchased from BRU and not BBB. im not really reading into it at this point, but i just hope more people are comfortable going to BBB (most of my guests are LI/NYC based) since I registered for more of the "must have" items from there. now im starting to wonder whether i should split it up more (although there are still a ton of things on BRU).

if you registered at both - where did you get more gifts from?? TIA!

I registered at both and put most things on BBB and some things at BRU. Most stuff got purchased from BBB and a lot of it actually got purchased on line by out of town people sending gifts. I'd keep it the way you have it because after having to return a few things this weekend at BBB and how easy it was I was very happy.

I registered at both and each registry was split in half. I noticed more disappear at first from BRU, but then the shift changed to BBB towards the end.

More people for my shower ended up purchasing things from BRU - I think because it was more convenient.

I continuously monitored and moved stuff over from BBB as necessary. I ended up getting all of my big ticket items, in the patterns/colors I wanted.

I registered at both BRU & BBB (I would say about 2/3 at BRU & 1/3 at BBB). Although I would loved to have only registered at BBB (their customer service is so much better then BRU), their are only 2 BBB on LI and I felt it wasn't fair to my guests to make them either drive far or order online and pay shipping. My shower was about 2 weeks ago and I have to say we got almost everything off of both registries.

Just so you know BRU accepts all coupons as well. Both BBB & BRU accept their own coupons, each others coupons and Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, as long as they are not expired.

I registered at two places, not BRB, but giggle. Would you be opposed to duplicating? I did and just kept a really good eye on my registry and removed stuff as needed. I only got one duplicate. If you did get duplicates you could just return to BBB and get store credit for something else you need. I got almost everything off both registries so the duplication did help me because people could really choose where they wanted to shop.
