Those who registered at both BBB & BRU

did you find that more people bought off your BRU registry?

I registered at both and most of my items were purchased off BRU but not many things off BBB. Some things that I really need/want. I feel like many people don't even know BBB exists and I don't think there was anything in my shower invites about where I was registered.

My shower is Sat. Should I move from stuff off of the BBB registry to the BRU one if they have the same thing?

I didn't register yet, but I threw my best friend a baby shower. She registered at both BRU and BBB and almost everything came off the BRU registry. Only the furniture she picked (which her mom bought) and one gift came off the BBB registry.

Re: Those who registered at both BBB & BRU

i don't plan on putting anything except my bedding on my BBB registry, everything on there is sooo much more expensive than at BRU!! i would definitely move stuff to the BRU registry

I agree w/ the above posts. DH and I are starting to put stuff on the registry and we noticed that BBB is only located in 2 places on LI. Garden City & Huntington. BRU has more locations.

People definitely bought more off the BRU registry. Also, BBB doesn't have a registry completion program, so no discount coupon to buy whatever wasn't purchased for you. therefore, I would say you should move items to BRU registry if they have them.

Actually, that's not true. When we registered at BBB, we got a folder with a sheet for 10 or 15% off of anything that wasn't purchased on the registry. It may be a new thing since we registered two weeks ago...and you definitely need to keep the sheet.
