First World Problems
So what’s your first world problem today?
Mine: My landlord wakes up early and plays the accordion. It wakes me up at 9 AM on a Sunday. Who does this? Then the son started playing the piano.

I have to pick 5 paint colors for my new house. I have trouble picking one. 5 is almost impossible!

First World Problems
I overslept and missed my yoga class. And all I want now is a big Starbucks coffee but don’t want to walk 1/2 block in the rain :(
ETA: re-read this and realized - just add uggs and I’m a classic basic bi***

5?!? Yeah, that’s too much at once. I would do room by room. But what do I know? I only have one room painted in my apartment. I picked out one color for the kitchen, and after that I said, yeah, the other rooms can wait. The rest is all white. It’s been 4 years.
I can’t even commit to hanging things on the wall, so there’s that.

Just make that coffee a Pumpkin Spice Latte and add a scarf and you are all set

Mine is I am waiting for a delivery of shower doors for my new bathroom and the delivery window is a reasonable 6 am to 6 pm! 
So I am stuck at home on an overcast Sunday drinking another cup of coffee and watching TV.
Damn.

I asked if anyone wanted to come over to play video games with my son and the parent can hang out with me. Kids are playing and the mom is asleep on my couch while I’m surfing the web.

I know!! It feels weird - especially since I’ve never met her before. I was talking and I could see her eyes closing and opening. At some point I just stopped talking and she laid down and fell asleep. She’ll wake up when the kids yell and she’ll say something to her son but then just goes back to sleep. I don’t want to be rude and wake her bc I don’t want her to be too tired to drive home but yeah - weird!

She finally woke up (after a 30 min nap) and tried for 15 min to get her kid to wrap it up (he was playing Minecraft). Just when I thought they were leaving, she announced snack time (even though it’s dinner time) and that added another 15 min to them leaving. Whew!

She probably has sleep apnea. Anybody who has/had severe sleep apnea knows very well that this is an all too common occurrence.
Whatever the issue is, hopefully she gets it addressed soon. If she's falling asleep that quickly, she could fall asleep while driving...

"Unfortunately " I need to get it all painted at once. Just bought the house and every wall in the house is painted PINK! I love pink, but this was ridiculous lol. Not only were all the walls pink, every room also had pink carpeting! So not only do I have to pick out paint colors, I also had to pick out flooring options for all the rooms - but luckily, all the bedrooms will be the same and then al the other rooms will be the same - so only had to make 2 choices there. And it's much easier to get it all done before I move in.

Is she a single mother? Maybe she is overworked overwhelmed and exhausted.
