FINISHED BASEMENTS
We are currently waiting to sign contracts on a home that has a full basement.
Please show me pics of your finished basement.
Thanks,

Re: FINISHED BASEMENTS
We just finsihed ours but it isn't painted yet. Plus, it's small, only a partial basement (I have a split). I will post pics when we're completely done though.

Re: FINISHED BASEMENTS
we have a beautiful finished basement, but it's in the process of being redone as we had major flooding with the noreaster and are now putting in a french drain and sump pump. So basically, we are unfinishing our finished basement and then finishing it again.

I think it must depend on what you want and the size of the space. We have a partial basement (we have a split) it cost us about $8K. That's for the ceiling, walls, floor, doors, trim, lighting, windows, paint. We didn't add a bathroom which I know most people like to do.

Re: FINISHED BASEMENTS
We plan to eventually do this, probably next year with the tax return we get. DH will do all the work, except for the plumbing, since we plan to have a bathroom, with a shower added. We figure it is going to cost us about $15,000. We have a full basement and are finishing half of it. We have to have the floor leveled, new windows, carpet, walls, paint, plus the bathroom stuff.
