FINALLY...for anyone who cares...some house updates
link to album...new pics start AFTER the pic of the entire front...
and here are a few
kitchen...just decorated a bit...
my toille 
FOYER
bench
LIVING ROOM! we painted walls and ceiling beams..still unsure if I love it, but its growing on me.
den...biggest overhaul thusfar (painted walls, new rug, purchased and stained shelving)
sofa and curtains
guest room...new paint on walls still only ONE bed frame  (putting up rest of curtains this weekend)
guest bath...just starting to accessorize
master bathroom
more in the album...too many Master bedroom still a work in progess and didn't photograph well,...I'll try again
As you can see, we are not afraid of color. thanks for looking and enjoy!

you ain't kidding!  my husband is KILLING me about it.

obviously we have a long way to go...I am a little annoyed b/c the colors are not coming out "true" in the photos, and *I* am not loving the way my house is showing here...but then again, my standards may just be higher than my abilities 
I hope to post more pics as it comes together more. it's staggering how expensive it is to furnish a house from scratch!
for the poster who asked, we purchased the den sofa from the Door Store and are very happy with it...I forgot the other part to your questions...I will go re-read and edit LOL sorry! 
ETA: the bed frame is a platform bed with drawers from Gothic Cabinet craft, along with the Skaker headboard from them as well.
we painted it ourselves with paint we'd purchased for the rest of the house.
