Finally got some great news....no...not a BFP but...
DH's blood work came back and the meds are working!!! 
Testosterone level is WAY up....actually a bit high. Thyroid functioning is back to normal!!! The endocrynologist called with the results and said that he is thrilled with them and didn't think that DH would respond so quickly to the meds. He said that he has to repeat a SA and bloodwork in October, but he is very hopeful that we will be in much better shape by then. He said that if all stays on course, in October, he'll prob be giving my ob/gyn a call to clear us to start trying again with  good results
It's not a BFP, but its such a great step in that direction that I just can't help but be thrilled!!!

Congrats - thats great news!!
Do you mind if i ask what meds your DH is taking? Mine is doing hcg shots - but his test levels are still on the low side.
Fortunately its help his sperm count - went from zero to normal in 3 months - hopefully you'll have great SA results in Oct!

He is on Synthroid for the thyroid and he's on Clomid for the testosterone! I was shocked when he came out with that Rx and it was also a bit of a battle at the pharmacy because clomid is typically a "woman's drug". However, the endocrynologist said that in cases like DH where the testosterone level was so low, he thought that clomid would do the trick and it did! He is actually even lowering his dose to 4x/week now (instead of 5x).
I'm going to keep the hcg shot in mind though becuase he did go for a repeat SA recently and all the number improved dramatically (# alive rose from 10% to 65%). However the actual count is still on the low end (it did raise from 1.5 mil to 2 mil though). How much did your DH's count raise??

My DH tried the Clomid first (same battle with insurance!) - but it didnt help his testosterone so they switched him to the hcg. After doing the clomid for a month then the hcg for 2 months his sperm went from zero to 26 million. And his count went up to 37 million the next month I hate having to give him the shots 3x a week though

Good luck - if the results arent as good as you'd like - im sure the hcg would be worth a shot!
