Feeling movement at 16.5 weeks??
Is it possible that I've been feeling movement so early? This is my first, so I am very unsure. It's very hard to describe the feeling I am feeling - it is sort of like little tiny kicks, fluttering in a way - but the baby is so small, that I wonder if I actually can feel her so soon. I will say that when we went in for an ultrasound on Tuesday we literally saw her cute little leg kicking back and forth a few times - it was so cute!
So, my question is, is 16.5 too early to be feeling the baby??

not too early at all. i felt flutters around that time although i didnt feel consistent movement until 20w. but i also had an anterior placenta although for me personally i still felt a lot of movement even though many with anterior placentas dont.

Re: Feeling movement at 16.5 weeks??
I felt tiny taps at 17 weeks when I leaned forward at my desk. So no I don't think it's too early!!
The taps increased and I felt more and more moevments in the following weeks. So if you keep feeling them and they get to be more you know it's the baby!!
It's so exciting when you start feeling that baby, congrats!!!

Not too early at all! With my first pregnancy I felt flutters at 16 weeks. It felt like I had a goldfish swimming in my belly. This pregnancy I felt it much sooner...around 13 weeks.
