Fedex
Will fedex leave a package if no one is home to recieve it? They are delivering to a house, not an apartment.

Re: Fedex
I think so unless the sender requires that someone signs for it

Re: Fedex
It depends if you require a signature or not.

Re: Fedex
If they have a signature on the package that says it's ok to leave if no one is home, otherwise they might leave it with a neighbor if they are home, or make a second attempt at a different time of the day.

Re: Fedex
I don't think so - FedEx is pretty good about not leaving packages w/out a signature.
There are times where I wanted them to leave the package or change the address, and they won't allow it w/out the original sender authorizing.

Re: Fedex
I think you can call them mid stream as long as you know the tracking number and let them know what you want them to do with it.

Re: Fedex
It depends on the shipper and the area you live.
Some shippers will require a signature, depending on the value of the product.
Certain areas (whether you think they are safe or not) Fed ex will not leave packages...sometimes if your house is on a busy road, they migth think a lot of people will drive by and see it....so it really is 50/50.
