Fedex-- ANOTHER INTERESTING UPDATE at the bottom

So every year I am in charge of ordering the secretaries gifts from the teachers for the holidays.

This year we got one of the secretaries tickets to see the Odd Couple. They were supposed to be shipped to me via Fedex. Fedex is showing them as delivered but I never received them. I am so LIVID right now. They don't require signatures anymore unless the sender requests it so they left it in our mailbox. $500 theater tickets I am so mad. I didn't know that the sender (stubhub) wouldn't request it I would think with the price they would, nor did I know that I had to request it. I am so mad right now. I don't even know what to do. I am waiting for a manager at Fedex to call me back. Then I am calling Amex and stopping payment on those tickets until they are recovered. Never again. I try to do something nice and all I get is aggrevation.

i had the same thing happen. my dh ordered me an expensive watch for christmas. when dh checked the delivery status and it said "delievered", he almost died. i never received the watch. needless to say, he called up fedex screaming. he had to order another watch. thank goodness it was not a problem. he was credited for the first watch, so everything worked out. but that stinks when you spend alot of money or even a little money and things are not received.

Make sure you look ALL around the house...it could be stuck in between doors or blew into the bushes or under the mat. The package WON"T be in the mailbox because it's illegal for FedEx to leave stuff in an US postal box. I hope you find them.

Illegal really, that's where their customer service rep said they left it. Well at 8pm tonight when I get the baby down to sleep I will go out with a flashlight! I hope they didn't get ruined in the rain since they show that it was delivered on the 21st

Just remember not to blame FedEx for this. Their no signature issue is their policy when items are shipped under a specific amount using a specific service.

If you want to blame anyone... blame StubHub because it will be them that will be responsible for the lost item.

I had this happen also a few weeks ago. The website showed it was delivered and on our porch. Well, we don't have a porch. After going back and forth with them, I walked outside and found the packages in the backyard on a table completely out of sight!

They are claiming they left them AT my mailbox- that is on the street

If I remember correctly, something like this happened to us a few years ago and we were also reimbursed by the company for our item BUT we now have on fedex's list NEVER to drop packages without a signature. If we are not there, we have to pick it up at fedex...which is totally fine with me.

No I didn't thank you for asking. After I put the baby down I went and searched through the bushes, my screened in room behind my fish pond- every where possible on my property it could be- like an idiot. I spoke with Stubhub last night, they will speak to the seller and see if he has any comparable tickets. This is the thing though that since this was a group gift for secretaries I only have that EXACT amount of money to spend. I don't want to go with cheaper seats because that theater seems to have a lot of blind spots. It's just a mess! I don't want to just cancel them because she was so excited about them.

And freaking FEDEX of course they were supposed to call me back before 9:30 and it's now 9:20 I don't see that phone call happening.

I really want to hear the driver explain- um it was cold and I didn't want to walk the 20 feet to the door so I just laid the package down next to the mailbox. I didn't think that since it was on the street that anyone would take it That's like me saying to my students- hey kids didn't feel like reading your essays so hey I am giving you all a C

The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago with my sisters Christmas gifts. I was so upset. They said they delivered them and if they did they got stolen. I filed a claim with them. And I had to replace the gifts. I am sorry to hear that so many people have had issues with Fedex.

I'm so sorry they didn't find your package and you didn't find it either. That really s@cks. Have you tried calling the theater and let them know the situation. They may be able to somehow cancel those tickets and reissue new ones for the seats.

The driver came back here to check to make sure that he delivered it to the right house I went outside when I saw him. He said he put it in the mailbox, because it's the busy season. I said you mean to tell me you were too busy to walk 10 feet to my door when my husband was home? He said yes. So tomorrow I am calling the postmaster general and filing a complaint with them because according to my post office you girls were right he is not allowed to do that! I hope he enjoys the show because I have to be honest, I don't think he delivered them at all. I think that it's very funny that these never made it here when I had so many other packages delivered to my house and they all made it. Especially after the baby one of the other teachers used to drop off presents from my students all the time and they always left them in my mail box and they were never touched!

I am also writing a letter to the corporate office about this drivers rude attitude and the lack of customer service I received from their reps. My husband used to work for Fedex several years ago and he is outraged by how this was handled and how he used to have to bust his but to make sure things were done right.

I really want to know where has customer service gone?

I am so glad that you confronted him. And yes, you should definitely file a complaint with the post office. How dare he say he's too busy to walk and put it safely in between your doors!

I glad to see that others are VERY unsatisfied with Fedex. I was waiting for a package to be delivered to me that was shipped out on 12/13...from Utah. I checked the website and it was supposed to be deliverd to me on the 20th....I JUST got it today!! It has been kicking (no pun intended...judging by the shape of the box it came in) around the country!! Im glad it wasnt a Christmas gift or else I would have been screwed!!

I come home today and there is a message on the machine from Stub hub. They have the tickets. Some how the package that the Fedex driver SWEARS he put in my mailbox was mailed to their office. Stub Hub doesn't understand it since the address on there is my home. Needless to say they are VERY unhappy with Fed ex! So now they are mailing it to my job because Fed Ex still requires signatures for delieveries to businesses.

Moral of the story IF you are going to use Fedex be sure to have it delievered to a business address!

You think Fed Ex is bad DHL is even WORSE!!!!

We use DHL and even with signature required they still leave items at the door. The most important documents to take on your cruise or tour they leave at your door where just anyone can take your stuff.

Perfect example DHL confirmation indicated item left at back door. Funny how could the documents be left at the back door of a 3rd floor condo.

Lesson learned Fed Ex and DHL stick to their policy and will NEVER take blame.

UPS or Airborne express all the way.

DHL isn't much better - I'm waiting for my Uggs to get here from Cali, and the DHL truck flew up my driveway this morning...I got so EXCITED!!! The dude got out of the truck and left MY NEIGHBOR'S package on my doorstep. I'm #12, the package clearly said #10. I was HOME, and the moron didn't even ring the bell. Just dropped and ran. AND I STILL HAVE NO UGGS!!!
