F-III is here!!
Finally, phew! Frank William - III, little F-III, is here!!
Yea! All's well that ends well. Frankie arrives on Thursday, August 14, 2008 @ 1449. He weighed 8lbs 2.9ozs and was 20.5 ins. Already he has melted our hearts with his sweet demeanor and funny expressions. He looks very much like his Dad, dark hair, big peepers, very handsome indeed.
Most importantly he is healthy and doing quite well. Big sister, Ellen, is very excited about her brother and loves to pat him. She has been an angel, and between the two, Frank and I could not be more blessed. Our hearts just are overwhelmed with how much we love these two.
The delivery was bumpy, I attempted a VBAC which my doc had blessed, but had a uterine rupture which, of course, resulted in an intense emergency c-section, very scary Both Frankie and I are lucky...he is healthy and I am intact, no hysterectomy. We were covered in prayer and blessed by God to come through it so well.
He is a VERY good baby, and lets mama sleep, in fact it makes me nervous how good he is, but the doc reassures me he's ok! He gives the funniest looks with his big peepers.
Missed everyone here...enjoy a few pics.
