EWCM but no smiley
I am a bit confused so maybe some of the pros out there can help me.
Yesterday morning use my OPK and did NOT get a smiley, but in the evening I noticed some EWCM.
This morning I tested again, and still NO smiley.
I thought the EWCM and smiley went hand and hand? Any advice or info?
BTW, DH and I did BD last night (just in case).
ETA: I should have mentioned that I had a chemical pregnancy last month. I could be wrong (again) but I thought a chemical would not affect your cycle.
So confused - I don't want to lose another month

ugh, this is the story of my month. i totally feel your frustration. I had EWCM for several days last week, I've taken 7 OPK's this month, and no smiley. I don't know what to make of it, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone!!! Hopefully someone else can shed light on this.

sometimes you can get a few days of EWCM before a smiley....or you can be like me and get two smileys a week apart from each other and really be confused

I always have 2-4 days of EWCM before my smiley.

a chemical can DEF mess with your cycle, esp. the first cycle right after.
are you sure it was EWCM?
i would def , it cant hurt.

Pretty confident that it was EWCM even the timing is right.
I guess I will just tell DH to drink extra water today and we will get to work

A chemical can totally mess up your cycle. I'm proof of it. I had one in Aug, had my first AF 9/22 after it, and am ovulating ultra late my first cycle...it sucks!!!!

I got my smiley this morning - two days after EWCM - hopefully DH and I (and my ovaries) will get things right this month.

I have days upon days of EWCM. It's actually kind of annoying! So no, smileys and EWCM don't always coincide.
