ear wax?
ok sorry if this is a dumb question but DS has a lot of earwax - how do i clean it? are there baby-safe q-tips out there or something?
also, how do i clean the outer-ear from wax? i've been using a washcloth during bathtime but am not sure how effective it is

ear wax?
DS has a gross amount of ear wax... I use regular Q-tips. I got the OK from my ped... Just be careful! Also I use Debrox (sp?) ear drops (also OK from my ped).

DS has a lot of ear wax too! I use regular qtips, but I don't go in the ear canal, just right on the outside.

DS had a ton of ear wax. I used the ones made for babies so they didn't end up in the ear can in case he moved..

My ped told me to make sure I get water in the ears during bath time to rinse out her ears. So I just dump water over her head when rinsing shampoo out. We don't have an issue but when I do clean her ears I use the baby qtips. They have a bulb shape so you can't go far in and I just swab it all around.

DS had a lot more ear wax last week then ever before. Ped said it's normal because ear wax is good for the ear and it's self-cleaning, which I know, but it doesn't look nice when it's coming out of his ear! I usually just use a wet wash cloth in the bath and was afraid to use qtips. I think I'll have to try the safety ones!
