Ear wax ....

We saw the ped today to follow up with them since DD had a double war infection two weeks ago. He stated her one ear is no longer red, but there is a bit of ear wax build up. He suggested using peroxide.

Has anyone done this that could guide me on how to do this with a wiggly little girl?

DD is 8 months old.

I've never done it but have heard about it. My ped also told me to make sure I get water in ears during a bath to flush it out also.

We'redoing this now. Our ped is having me use debrox, it's thicker than regular peroxide and stays in a bit easier. Since she isn't going to sit still for that long we're doing it every day for about 2 weeks. Hth!

I would love to know also. DD had a double ear infection and ped said she had a lot of ear wax buildup. she is on antibiotics now but he said to use peroxide for a week after we were done with it.
