Dressing baby in onesies

At what age did you stop dressing your baby in a onesie and just do regular shirts?

I never liked onesies... Always did a regular shirt... But mostly used sleep n play.

My DS is 17 months and some days he still wears a onesie if that is what came with an outfit.

When it get cold out, I plan on putting him in a onesie and a regular shirt.

My DS has eczema and when he has a flare up the onesie make it so he can not scratch his stomach and most of his back and chest.

My ds is 2 and still fits into a few of his 24-month carters onesies. Nowadays he mostly sleeps in them if it's hot out. I'd say he stopped wearing onesies regularly between a year & 18 months old. I would often use them as undershirts, and he'd wear a long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt on top.

I really never dressed dd in them-she's been in regular shirts since birth for the most part

I did onesies exclusively for the first year. They are easy and comfy.
After that I did still mostly onesies probably up until age 2. After that not really unless I seen something super cute. Otherwise at that point I was way more into shirts.
And sometimes under her sweaters in the winter a plain white onesie cause she was so tiny she fit into 24 months past 2. And it was easier than trying to keep a shirt tucked in.

My 18m old is mostly in regular shirts but she happens to be wearing a onesie today lol.

I never "switched". It all depended on the outfit she was wearing. DD2 is 4 weeks old and I put her in regular shirts sometimes

Now that DS is almost 2, no more onesies.

I loved onesie bodysuits so I kept DC in them for as long as I could. Up until they were almost 2 & couldn't fit into 24month size anymore.

DD stopped wearing onesies at 12 months except for sleeping. She is 2 and on warm nights she still sleeps in a onesie.

My DS has onesies up to size 24 months. I dont typically dress him in them to go out, but in the summer I would with cotton shorts if it was part of an "outfit". Now that fall has begun no more onesies.

I LOVED onesies for my DD. I stopped putting her in them prob. at 18 months or so.

DS sleeps in them and maybe half the time i use them with an outfit but otherwise its just a shirt. I will use them as a layer this winter. DS is 16 months.

With DD i used them until she didn't fit in them anymore. They weren't a wear every day thing but they had a role in her wardrobe.

DD was born in the winter and I just felt that sleep n plays were easier and warmer to dress her in. She wore them more often in the spring/summer.

And now at almost 3, she still has 1 12-18mo sized onesie she still wears (since she's a tiny peanut). Her METS onesie! Although we live in AZ now, I've taught her well and she LOVES the Mets. She frequently asks to wear her Mets "pajama shirt" :) I'm proud :)

I used onesies up until he stopped fitting in 24 months. I used them in the winter under his shirt.

Until they don't fit anymore which is approaching lol. My DS is 15 months and I don't know what I am doing for undershirts this winter. I think I can squeak by with the Carters 24 month old size onsies.

I prefer regular shirts because its easier for me to check him for poop. But I don't exclusively use one or the other. I buy whatever I like and think looks cute. If it's a onesie, it's a onesie.

I stopped onesies at around a year old. I just liked her better in "grown up" clothes.

With dd I used them up to 24 months. I will probably do the same for ds. I don't like their bellies exposed if their shirts ride up when its cold out. I do not use them in the summer though.

Around age 2. It was wintertime and I put regular undershirts under.
